“We link our lives together by a single rope, and it gives us such a beautiful sense of trust in each other. It is such a pure thing. If we could capture the feeling and harness it for the good of society, certainly everything bad or evil would fall away.” These were the words Yukio Yamai wrote in his journal while climbing Mount Tanigawa. In 1958 he founded Snow Peak with those beliefs in mind. Six decades later and now run by Yukio’s son Tohru Yamai, the brand has evolved from climbing equipment to a wide range of camping equipment and apparel whilst never wavering from its core values. As committed adventurers themselves, Snow Peak is focused on products that showcase quality, functionality, timeless-durability and considered design, all with the intention of reconnecting you with the natural world.
