Lavenham have been making quilted outerwear in Suffolk, England for over 50 years. Originally manufacturing horse rugs used for riding, the nylon quilting was such a success, outerwear soon followed. Thanks to their quality, practicality and understated appearance, these hardwearing, durable coats and vests have been a hit since the first one was produced in 1969. Produced with 100% recycled nylon and wool woven in Italy, these garments are made to last for years to come. Made in a factory just six miles from where the first one was produced decades ago, Lavenham employs over 100 skilled craftspeople who expertly build each garment “fit for purpose”.
