For us at the shop, our Il Bussetto wallets are a source of pride. We show them off every chance we get but to be honest with you, as great as they look brand new, they look better and better the longer you have one. Customers return just to show us how they’re Bussetto items have aged like we’re in some sort of club. I don’t know if that’s what Mauro Gobbi had in mind when he founded Il Bussetto in 2004 in Milano, Italy, but it just speaks to the quality he puts into each and every one of his products. His unique tuscan leather craft technique allows production of small leather goods moulded on wooden modes and devoid of any seams. The result is traditional yet classic silhouettes that express high craftsmanship and most noticeably, a patina that only gets better with age.
